Everybody wishes for a figure like Shilpa Shetty or abs like Hrithik Roshan. You also must have some such secret desire, so why not turn it into a reality?

But instead of being Mr/Ms fix it, and fix our weight, it is better to aim simply for better health. All that a sedentary lifestyle can gift you is a loss of muscles mass, tone, flexibility strength, and vitality. 

IF YOU DESIRE OPTIMUM HEALTH, EXERCISE IS FUNDAMENTAL.

Wanna face the facts?

·         Sedentary  people  are roughly  twice  as  likely  to  die  from  a  heart  attack 

·         A sedentary lifestyle carries the statistical equivalent of smoking a packet of cigarettes every day or having 20% extra body fat.

But instead if you get off that sofa and move, you will see how much it works in your favour. When we exercise regularly, all nutrients are assimilated better.

 

Heat & energy generated by physical exercise is a crucial for many important functions of body such as:

·         Removal  of  gaseous waste  created through  cellular metabolism

·         Enrichment of blood with vital oxygen

·         Improvement  of  nerve communication  and  function

·         Increase  of  the number  and  size  of  blood  vessels

·         Improvement of blood circulation.

·         Healthy lymph system (lymphatic system functions to bring nutrients to cells and to carry away metabolic wastes).

If you are a weight watcher, this is something you should know. Exercise  helps  to speed  up  your  metabolic  rate, which  means  that  you will  be  burning  up  all  that  unwanted  fat quicker.  Also, walking or exercising at your  target  heart  rate,  will give you  cardiovascular  fitness  as  well  as  weight loss.

Thus, one can say there’s no other side to exercising. All you do works in your favour. But it is necessary to keep in mind a few points when wanting to develop an exercise regime.

Caution while exercising

Physical  exercise  is  good  for  you – but  it  does  not  necessarily  follow  that  the more  you do, the  better  it is. Pay careful attention to your body’s responses.

During  peak  exercise,  you  should  have  a  very  thin  film  or  perspiration, but  you  should  not  be sweating  excessively.

Use your breathing as measures of exercise intensity.  If  you  are  breathing  slowly  and  deeply,  but  without  strain,  you  are working  at  the  correct  level. You  should  be  able  to hold  a  conversation  while  you  are  exercising. Above all, ENJOY! Have fun while you exercise.

Another important aspect is the choice of exercise. Exercise should enhance energy, strength, and vitality.  It should make you feel lively, strong, and energetic.

The best time of day to exercise is between 6:00 and 10:00 a.m.  This is when the physiology is strongest and most tolerant of activity. 

Choose exercise that help to integrate mind and body.  Some of such activities & exercises are: Surya namaskar, Yogasans & pranayams, brisk walking, aerobics with enjoyable music, swimming, and sports. Adding these to your exercise regime will not only take care of your physical health but also your mental makeup.

Thus, stay fit, exercise well, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, AND YOU’LL BE FABULOUS.
